Day 1 KATHMANDU - NYALAM (3,750m)
The tour starts from the Scenic Adventure office, early in the morning at 6.00 a.m. We drive to Dhulikhel, where we stop for breakfast. Then it’s on to Kodari, 114 km from Kathmandu. This drive usually takes 5-6 hours. In Kodari, our tour escort will help you through the immigration formalities Nepal. After the immigration formalities, it’s a 3-4 minute walk to the Tibetan side of the border, where our Tibetan guide plus 4WD Jeeps and supporting trucks will take us on to Zhangmu, a Tibetan town a 9 km uphill drive from the border. At Zhangmu you go through Chinese immigration formalities. You will have your lunch here and drive on to Nyalam, 30 kms from Zhangmu. It’s a 2 hour uphill drive. Overnight in guesthouse.

Day 2 NYALAM
Rest day for acclimatization.

Day 3 NYALAM - SAGA
After breakfast our journey to Saga starts, a drive of 6-8 hours. Overnight in camp (4,050 m).

Day 4 SAGA - PARAYANG
After an early breakfast, we drive to Parayang (6-7 hours). Overnight in camp.

Day 5 PARAYANG - MANASAROVAR
An early morning drive to Manasorovar (4-5 hours). Overnight in Camp (4,550m).

Day 6 MANASAROVAR - DARCHEN
Explore the beautiful Lake Manasorovar in the morning, then drive to Darchen (1 hour). Overnight in camp or guestHouse (4,560 m).

Day 7 DARCHEN - DIRAPUK
The trek starts after an early breakfast. After 5 - 6 hours, we reach Dirapuk. Overnight in camp (4,890 m).

Day 8 DIRAPUK - ZUTULPUK
We continue to Zutulpuk (8 hours). Overnight in Camp (4,790m).

Day 9 ZUTULPUK - DARCHEN - HORFE
The trek ends at Darchen. Drive to Hotel and overnight in Camp.

Day 10 HORFE - PARAYANG
Drive back to Parayang. Overnight in camp.

Day 11 PARAYANG - SAGA
Drive to Saga and overnight in camp.

Day 12 SAGA - LHATSE
Drive to Lhatse and overnight in guesthouse.

Day 13 LHATSE - SIGATSE (3,900M) 244km.
A scenic drive of around 6-8 hours that goes through the highest point, Gyatchu La pass (5,220m) en route to Lhasa via Latse and Shakya Monastery. Overnight in hotel.

Day 14 XIGATSE -GYANTSE
(3,950M) 90km. A drive of around 2 hours. Morning sightseeing to the Panchen Lama's Tashilumpu Monastery. Drive through Tibet's biggest Agricultural field to Gyantse and visit to the Kumbum Stupa and the Palkor Monastery. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 15 GYANTSE - LHASA (3,650M), 261 km.
A full day’s picturesque drive along the turquoise Yamadrok lake. We cross the Kampala Pass (4,794M) and the Brahmaputra River (Yarlung
Tsangpo). Overnight in hotel.

Days 16 - 17 LHASA
Two full days’ sightseeing in Lhasa including the Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Bazaar, Potala Palace, the Deprung and Sera Monasteries. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 18 LHASA - KATHMANDU
Fly back to Kathmandu. An early morning drive to Gongaar airport for the flight to Kathamdu, then on to your next destination.
